Clean Slate was designed with the designer in mind.  We crafted it to be a beautifully minimalist theme right out of the box, yet packed with options to flexibility to adapt and evolve it even further.

Every corner of this design was thoughtfully constructed with a functional back-end to match.

Beautiful Typography

We took extra special care in crafting a clean and perfectly spaced layout, both vertically and horizontally. To enhance the visual heirarchy, we implemented designer fonts using the latest web fonts technology.

Now with options!

New in Clean Slate 2.0 is the ability to select from a variety of header fonts! We’ve built in a number of hand-selected beautifully designed font choices. Simply select the one you’d like to use in the Clean Slate options.

Five Styles To Choose From

Built into Clean Slate are five tastifully designed color schemes to choose from— right from within the theme options.  Each is unique in it’s own special way.  You can choose to “set it and forget it”, or use any one as a starting point for further CSS customization.

Subtle Enhancements

On first glance, Clean Slate is a short, simple, and to the point.  But dig a little further and you’ll find subtle design enhancements that make this theme truly unique.

Take for instance, the “More Posts Bucket” (as we call it).  It’s a little drawer tucked away just above the footer, containing thumbnail links to additional blog posts.  You have the option to enable/disable it, set it to be open/closed by default, choose post offset and post category.
